Anyone else see the "human trafficking, it's not okay" billboard in BR?

Between the Highland and Siegen exits on I-10. Will try to get a pic today.
Because frankly, before seeing this, I thought Human Trafficking was on the up and up. Thankfully this billboard has shown me the light.
Maybe next they'll come out with "Cooking Babies in pies: it's not okay."
Or
"Poisoning the water supply: it's not okay."
Who in the world thinks these ridiculous signs are a good use of money?

maybe some human trafficker will drive by that sign today and think to himself "you know...maybe I should release all these 13 year old Asian girls in the back of my van because goddammmit, ITS NOT OK"
you never know

Yeah...but now what am I supposed to do with 17 pubescent Guatemalans?
Can I just leave them at the goodwill box?

You might want to research the issue before spouting off about it.
Eta: never mind I agree it could be worded better. But it's a huge problem that a lot of people do think is "okay," especially in forms most people might not associate with human trafficking. It is usually a lot more subtle than 16 Thai girls in a rape van.

I'll be honest.. When I first saw one of those signs a few ago, I wondered what the sign was doing in Baton Rouge.. After doing a little research , I realized that Baton Rouge is far from immune to this type of crimanality. In essence, the sign worked.

Exactly. I think the signs are there to make people aware or battle indifference with the issue.
I don't get why people like making issues out of nothing. Who cares how they spent their money? You weren't going to see any of it.

I think another thing is most people feel this is something that is only a problem in other countries. You'd be shocked how big of a problem it is in the US as well.

How much research is required to know that sex slavery might be a bad thing?
The message behind it is inane and annoying and insulting to the audience.
What's next?
"Face Tattoos: Probably not a good decision for gainful employment."

Yea. I don't get the point of this thread.
If you think abut it, the fact that this thread exist means the billboard is doing its job.
