Don't forget this one... Les and Chavis still have to wait to half time to make adjustments.

This was maddenenly. I'm not saying I want the start running the fun n gun, but watching us come out in big set after big set in the first half while gaining what, 16 yds? I still believe with the talent we have in the backfield that we should be a run first team. But do something to give them a chance!

OL did look the same if not worse with a new coach.
The season's success will be a reflection of how well we can throw/catch and the performance of both lines.
Glad to get the W.

Missed assignments all night long..or at least until there were only two DL. I t was very disappointing. I'm not looking forward to playing against sec competition

.Im Thinking the same thing. They were getting pushed around for much of the game by a less than stellar Wisky DL.

We ran just fine out of the 3 WR set. It is maddening watching them do it game after game even though we tear thru teams when we run the ball out of 3 wide sets.

Our DC can make spectacular adjustments on the go
Our team is loaded with very young talent at every level on both sides
Our play book is extremely paired down right now
Our coach is both very good and very stubborn at the same time. (See 4th qtr personnel packages and our refusal to stick with what worked until we got in a bind)

This is the thing. We dont even need to go 4 and 5 wide. We just need to get teams in their nickel packages and our running game will explode.

Even when we outweigh them by SEVENTY-FIVE fricking pounds per man??? I get what you're saying but the first half was as pussified a performance as I've seen from an LSU OL.

Not saying they played great. Our 19th century play calling was not helping. Once we got them guessing whether we would run OR PASS, the OL was opening gaping holes.

TE's are not terrible. Just had a couple of bad plays, that's all.

Their blocking and assignments were pretty bad, from what I saw...

I learned that Les is still the "comeback kid" and I shouldn't bitch, cry, scream, threw my teddy bear at the TV at the end of the 2nd quarter. I need to be patient and let the Wizard work his magic.

I learned that it's a good thing that I got a 3 months supply of my BP medicine yesterday.

Our WRs vs extra DBs is a much better mismatch in the running game then TEs vs extra DL/LBs. This happens every game yet we always go back to "heavy" sets to start the ball game.

i know les is infatuated with i-form, but running an offense with an extremely limited FB makes our offense almost play 10 on 11

We gotta get something going for qb.
If it's gonna be read option fine.
He's not ZM so you wouldn't think play action under enter would work bit actually AJ looked decent with that.

He's illusive enough to run and just good enough to throw.
Need a better mix early on instead of run up middle on 1st and second down and then try convert a 3 long.
