It's my favorite, not to mention was on AMC. No HBO or etc..great writing, great acting, presentation, editing, music extremely solid show.

Matter of opinion. For me, BB is easily #1 though I've not seen The Wire.
Its place on the Mount Rushmore of drama series can't be argued though.

i legitimately think friday night lights is better. they are totally different, but both technically dramas. i dont care how stupid i am since it's an opinion and both are great shows.

The wire gets a lot of credit because it was groundbreaking in the dramatic series category, but I think shows like breaking bad and the sopranos tok the concepts laid down by the wire to a whole different level.

Breaking Bad was awesome.
Now that I have said that, it does not break in to my top 3.
1) the wire
2) sopranos
3) game of thrones (will easily be 1 in a few years)
