How is former LSU QB Zach Lee doing?

He has got to be nearing the end of his rookie contract by now, any chance he makes it back to college as a QB?

I'm fairly certain his 5-year eligibility clock started back in 2010 since he took summer classes. Stupid thread.

And I'm fairly certain you don't know what you are talking about.

He is pitching at AAA and is currently listed as the Dodgers #5 minor league prospect.

Lee isn’t as bad as his numbers make him out to be. He’s pitching in the PCL, a graveyard for pitchers. There are a couple of stats that aren’t so great: increased walk rate (2.2 to 3.4) and a decreased strikeout rate (8.3 to 6.2). But he’s also has a career-best 1.78 ground out-to-fly out rate, which could translate well at the next level. He could be in line for a September call-up, but he’ll need to be added to the 40-man roster.

Was here for spring practice was he not?
I'm legitimately asking, I can't remember

Not entirely correct. If I remember correctly he actually reported to practice but signed with the dodgers about 2 weeks into August.

I am 100% certain that ZLee enrolled at LSU before signing with the Dodgers.
His eligibility clock started then and is either hit zero or is very close. He will never play college football.

Attending summer school doesn't start your clock. He had to be enrolled full time and attended a fall class to start it.

No, he wasn't here during the spring.

Enrolled in summer school at LSU in June of 2010 and made a 4.0 while taking six hours ... Also went through LSU's off-season conditioning program.

Maybe he should consider it. Most Dodger fans don't think he will ever be a big league starting pitcher.
