When Charlie Daniels went off to ride in a rodeo, he thought red beans and rice sure would be nice back where the Mississippi River flows. It was once a long way back to Vicksburg, Mississippi River & muddy wine. To the average eye it doesn't seem like much, he just wanted to see sweet Louisiana on the other side.
