Biggest Friday night buzz before an LSU game?

Offseason thread is offseason
The three that really stand out to me are Va Tech 2007, Auburn 2003 and Alabama 2012. There was just a different level of hype and buzz the night before those games.

Florida 2009 was ridiculous for gameday. Was still in High school so i couldn't tell you how friday was

Friday in 09 was the biggest I ever remember on Friday/Saturday pregame. Undefeated matchup coming off of a win in Athens. BR was keyed up that whole week. It could be that I remember the pregame atmosphere so much because it was the biggest disparity I can ever remember between the weekend leading up and the actual game.
Bama 12 would be a very close second, but we had already lost a game, and with a 2 week wait for the game, I think everyone started to get a little fatigue by thursday/friday. Saturday was unparalleled though IMO.

A&M last year was pretty ridiculous. Florida '09 was a circus..too bad that game ended up sucking. '11 was a party all year long

aTm last year was incredibly subdued to me. The weather forecast was terrible, we had lost 3 games, and spent two weeks with noone talking about anything but about how bad Alabama had just whipped our asses.
It belongs nowhere near this conversation IMO.
To a lesser extent I'd say SCAR 2012 would go in the same boat. Coming off the FLA loss, the number 3 team in the country was coming in, and you couldn't give tickets away to that game.

The weather was atrocious but A&M brought a shite ton of fans and tigerland was PACKEDDDD. Maybe I just know a lot of people from Texas?

How are people forgetting Bama in '08? Some guys first visit back to his old stomping grounds. There were billboards advertising bonfires on the Friday befor the game!!
