I won a tattoo gift certificate at a benefit poker run this weekend so tattoo #9 will be on within the next few weeks.

Sleeves are legit, so are full back pieces... Sporadic random tattoos are pathetic and trashy as all hell

This is all I read and the answer is yes. This is the only appropriate answer. End of discussion.

I don't have any, don't really want any. Glad I never had the impulse because I'm being promoted into management at my job and I could tell the HR panel was looking for them on me.

I actually passed a guy on the sidewalk the other day who had some kind of tattoo on his forehead. I didn't notice it quickly enough to determine what it was. He had them all up and down both arms too.

Tats are played out. Total trash all the way around.
What amazes me it the sheer volume of tribal art, barbed wire and non-colorful ink work.
If you're going to do it, why not be colorful?

Yes and I am.

I somewhat agree with this. Typically, I think tattoos are trashy as frick, but some pieces look like actual artwork, rather than trashy bull shite. I guess it depends on who has the tattoo. I have a professional job in healthcare, sleeve tattoos wouldn't fly in my professional life (not really my style anyway).
I would never get one and would never date (I'm married already) anyone who have tattoos.

Tattoos are like personalized car tags with groups of letters that don't seem to spell anything the average person can figure out, we know it must have some special meaning to you, but to us it is just stupid.

Certain tattoos qualify you as trashy immediately.
Examples: Tribal, asian, most celtic crosses, lower back
I think those qualify someone as stupid and desperate to fit in.

I don't have one and will never get one

for limiting your career potential and attractiveness to employers in serious lines of work.. And don't bother with the pic of the doctor with a sleeve. That's an exception.

I don't think I would ever get one but I don't really think less of others who have a few. Full sleeves and the like are much different.

I'm 48 and got my full sleeve on one arm and half sleeve on the other in the past couple years. I am smarter than 98% of you and make more money than 98% of you, so I don't give a frick what people think of my tats. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconmoon.gif)

Mongoloid biker construction union client of mine got Lynch Mob written across his neck recently.
My sis-in-law's favorites she has seen on the operating table are "trust no bitch" and "if you can't frick it, suck it" above a guy's belly button, with an arrow pointing down.
