They are trashy and a sign of a lack of common sense and a lack of a proper upbringing. People who get them are like insecure children seeking the attention they never got from their divorced parents.
Today's fleur de lis, tiger eye, and state of Louisiana are yesterday's barbed wire and tribal tattoos. Sleeves are a desperate cry for help from people who realize that the only way to make themselves remotely interesting is to mar their body.
