"Months before they started showing up" You sure about that? You might want to do a search. I think you'll find out that's not correct, that the large influx began in October. Probably children were coming in before October, it's just the numbers picked up in October.

Cool. Either way, why are we looking to hire people to shuttle them here? I don't care when they "started" to show up. This could have been shut down a long arse time ago.

The U.S. government needs to make the Mexican government control their border with central america. Most of these immigrants are from central america and they are going through mexico to get here. Make their government accountable. Ban anything that benefits Mexico.

How can the U.S. force Mexico control their border when we don't even control ours. Mexico is MUCH tougher on illegal immigrants than the U.S.

There's plenty of practical ways.
We can suspend every dime of aid to Mexico. We can cut off or impede the money flow to Mexico from US inhabitants. That right there should do it. But I'm sure smarter people than me could think of another three or four dozen ways.

I thought the children part of the immigration law was prepared by Bush Sr. and signed into law by Clinton. I thought the illegals have just now figured it out and are now sending all the kids up here.
And the Obama doesn't care about photo ops is a dumb thing to even discuss. Makes Republicans and Fox news look childish and retarded.

Did you even read your own link?
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a component of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), has a continuing and mission critical responsibility for accepting custody of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) from U.S. Border Patrol and other Federal agencies and transporting these juveniles to Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) shelters located throughout the continental United States.
In other words, the contract was to take the children from the custody of other federal agencies because by law (the law that created DHS), DHS is the agency tasked with dealing with children under these circumstances after other agencies end up with them in their custody.
That has nothing to do with causing it (your original accusation posted without a lick of evidence). There is also nothing in your link to support that we are "shuttling them here" unless you mean move them from one US location to another.

Doesn't that make you wonder how all those illegals got permission to cross the length of Mexico? What is the means of trasnportation? Who is funding the transportation? Maybe its part of the 3.7 billion that Obama is desperate to get his hands on.
Since Obama has stated that he can use his phone and Pen to change laws, why hasn't he changed the 2008 immigration law that allows non Mexican and non Canadian children to stay in the country.

Rick Perry spilled the beans in that Hannity interview/border tour the other day. Said that Obama moved the Border Patrol FIFTY MILES BACK from the Border. Now he wants 4B to pay to settle his new electorate in; and hire more Patrol to welcome the coming wave of Dem voters...change diapers what not.

The reason they're coming involves a host of reasons - violence, a misunderstanding of the law that predates the Obama admin doesn't provide for auto-deport of CA kids and requires a hearing. So the CA kids that get here are seized, given a summons and released to relatives. The coyotes have gone to CA and sold this as a get out of this violent shithole ticket and they're offering cut rate prices. Again it's a combination of factors and not some grand strategy by a political party to gain power. When it comes to this shite y'all are starting to sound like txtiger.
