How big of a dick move is this?

Not just - don't smoke in my house but also - you can't smoke in my backyard. Or front yard. You have to go into the alley. My friends always use an ash tray but its still annoying to me.

and how dickish would it be to let pot smoking continue but ban tobacco use at the same time?

Your house, do what you want. Your friends will go away if they think it's an issue and then you can get back to Firefly

pretty dick... I don't really have any friends that smoke cigs but I wouldn't like it, but I'd allow them to smoke in my backyard as long as they cleaned up after themselves.

Not very big. I don't let people smoke in my apartment, nor would I ever. If I had a house with a yard, I'd let them smoke outside.

I banned alcohol indoors at my house and we just allow marijuana smoking. We don't really like drunks so they stand outside when it's one-ten and sunny.

I hate wasting water so they have to bring their own ice because I also don't want to smell their booze breath when they come in for more beers.

Stupid move IMO. Does them smoking outside harm you?

I'm not a big proponent of making rules for the sake of rules. I understand not smoking in your house, but I fail to see how smoking outside has any bearing on your life.

First off, yes it's a dick move. Secondly, just out of curiosity, what's your policy on smoking meth?

Hope you like having no friends. A few weeks back I was at a small wedding my friend had at his current wifes house. I'm standing around for awhile not really knowing anyone in her stuck up arse family. I see no one smoking. After a few hours I say frick it. Low and behold I am out there a few minutes people start rolling outside to smoke. Given I went out the side door by the driveway so I wasn't all up in everyone's space. Well the brides sister's boyfriend and his potnas start hanging. The bourbon is flowing like the niagra at this point. A few people are out in the front yard. Groom included. I proceed to walk over to them. Cigarette in hand. This bitch tells, not asks, me to go on the complete other side of the driveway if I'm going to smoke. I was vexed to say the least. Rolled out of there and drove straight from lakeview back to houma.

One lingers longer than the other for sure.

IDC if people smoke cigs outside.

There is no smoking allowed on my property - 1 person is Grandmothered in.

No other exceptions.

Yeah - we don't have an alley, but the street is good.

Obviously, there will be no marijuana smoked on my property, either, legal or no.

It's a dick enough move that I'd rally the friends against you for being a little bitch and move the party to my house, without you. I wouldn't want to offend your delicate sensibilities.

You sound uptight. What's the harm in letting them smoke in your backyard as long as they dispose of the cigs properly?
