I wouldn't say "great", but I also wouldn't say it was just random shite. I don't know all the answers yet, but I followed along pretty well.

i guess this style of show just isnt my taste.
I have a feeling that this show will get the similar phrase as Treme did when that show got worse and worse and worse.

It's not that they have to answer all the questions in the first show, but they do need to provide a framework within which the show will operate. That requires answering a few questions. The show seemed to purposefully avoid answering the questions that would ground the show in the audience's understanding. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was still decent and may watch the next episode, but the pilot left a lot to be desired.
