I don't know if the cop was cheating. That could have easily been his wife. We didn't see her face and they had similar color hair. Maybe that's why she joined that cult, so much guilt from being mid bang during the disappearances. Wayne seems fricking nuts. Thought the park scene was cool, I'd love to work over Westboro like that.

I'm not sold yet. The review I read said that it's going to take about five episodes for stuff to actually start happening, but to me this is just the random people doing random crap show so far.

I'm intrigued. The music is weird though.

I thought the music/score was one of the better parts of the pilot.

Retrograde is an awesome song. It really fit the feel of the show.

A lot of mystery. Kind of slow, but worth a watch.

I liked it. I like post-apocalyptic stuff, and while it isn't quite that, a lot of the weirdness is probably attributed to the concept that people and society will go to shite when something unexplainable impacts everyone. Hence the weird games at the party, cult and the character talking about how the people will eventually start acting like the dogs.

I think it is weird, but I didn't have trouble following anything. I was pretty entertained the whole time.

People looking for clear cut explanations and answers are going to be disappointed. I mean like for as long as the show runs.

I can't believe all of y'all are bitching bc you "don't understand" what's going on. Isn't that the fun of watching something new. If you want to know all of the answers, just wait until it's over and watch the end.

I really enjoyed and I like that you don't know exactly what's going on. The show seems different than anything I've watched, and that makes me happy.

I don't expect them to actually say it was the rapture. I get that it's more about how the event affected the people left behind. Kind if like walking dead isn't about how it happened but what happened to the people after the fact.

I did say the music was weird but not necessarily bad just different from what I'm used to in a TV show.

I'm just curious why the cult people smoke it up all the time. Seems like an odd trademark move.

There was some saying on the wall about it in one of the houses. I didn't get a chance to catch the whole thing. Anyone else see it?

I was trying to read all the shite written everywhere but that would have taken 2 hours. These people love whiteboards and graffiti.

It read something like:

"We don't smoke because we like it, we smoke to proclaim our faith."

So I was kinda disappointed in the weirdness with how y'all talked about it...I didn't find it to be that weird.

I thought the Guilty Remnant cult silently, standing around watching people while chain smoking was freaking hilarious.

Here is my kinda off the wall theory...

...the people are now reincarnated as animals. The deer thing was the strangest part of the show.

And I don't care if they ever give a real explanation of what happened to the departed.

First off, I really liked the vibe of the show...so I'm in.

Secondly, I really did have a flash to some of the resident nuts on this board who constantly bitch about science while watching part of the congressional hearing and the congressmen scolding the scientist for coming back with the answer of "We don't know." You could hear an audible gasp in the room, as if "We don't know" is not an acceptable answer when one does not know a thing! haha

But yeah...strange show but I like it. I also find the lead guy essentially doing Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Their voices are nearly identical.

Watched it last night. Soundtrack was good, other than that I felt sort of bored. There were a couple tense moments that reeled me in, but overall there was very little plot movement.

Was still undecided on if I would continue the rest of the series or not, so I went read the book plot on Wikipedia.
