If you took the second FIN 701 exam early, your grade might be on Moodle now. I took mine Sunday afternoon and my grade was up there. 96%. I'll take that.

Dang good job!! I just checked and haven't gotten a grade yet. I will be in Vegas for work all next week, so I am going to start pounding the books now. I hope I did well and will have a nice buffer for the the next exam.

I scored 93%! I am so happy because this is a huge improvement from my exam 1 score.

On the ACCT exam...were the practice exam questions on the exam like he said they would be?

Does anyone see a need to use excel on the accounting exam? I saw where he said that he hope we utilize excel. Or are most of the questions qualitative?

I have been using excel for the quizzes but honestly, it slows me down. I'm thinking about abandoning it for the exam. I haven't made up my mind yet.
I'm traveling this week and won't be back home till Friday. I'm waiting until I get in front of my dual monitors to take it, especially if I am going to use excel.

I like using Excel when time isn't an issue. Unless you have a split screen or 2nd laptop, I agree that it may slow you down on the exam.

Let me know how Vegas is. Wife and I are stopping there for 3 nights in late November before flying to LA for the Saints game vs Rams.

9Brees9 I will! I have never been, but am excited to visit. Its Supply Side, a trade show for nutraceuticals so I will be busy pretty much from 8am to 9pm, but I am hoping to sneak away to sit by the pool for a bit.

For anyone that took the FIN 701 exam Monday night, your grade might be posted. I got a 99. Looks like everyone has done well so far, so congratulations! So happy to be at the halfway point of this class.
I also wonder why we have so much more time for these next 2 exams. Maybe the material is tougher?
Exam 1: 6 chapters with 2 weeks to prepare
Exam 2: 4 chapters with 1 week to prepare
Exam 3: 2 chapters and 2 sections of a 3rd chapter with 2 weeks to prepare
Exam 4: 3 chapters with 2 weeks to prepare
I won't complain but it seems odd.

I'm stoked haha I was in Cuba/Puerto Rico for the first exam, barely caught up for the second exam, and now I can take it easy for the next two exams. YAY!
I keep refreshing on the grades page. I hope I did well, you guys are all putting up great scores.

Much appreciated! Definitely give yourself some time to enjoy yourself. You can't do all work without playing in Sin City, ha!

I've noticed a # of people stating not enough time to complete ACCT exam. I've never been a quick test taker so has me worried.
Did the practice exam but took well over 12 minutes to answer 6 questions as the debt-to-asset ratio question had me stumped.

I assumed he was referring to a question like the debt to asset ratio one you mentioned. Instead of solving for "x", he plugged in each of the 5 multiple choice answers to see which one resulted in a debt to asset ratio of .64.
