He'll get nothing.

What's his argument? They made him sell?

They never voted.

NBA consulted with him. They didn't want a team in Seattle.

He doesn't own the team, the trust does. And the trust deemed him mentally unfit to conduct business. So he can't sue the NBA. OK, he can, you always can, but he has no standing. He has to sue the trust first to even be able to sue the NBA. Then, the trust has already indemnified the NBA from suit. So even if he wins, he's back to suing the trust again.

We won't even get into reliance issues. He's screwed.

Yeah, I'm not sure he is competent to consent or sign off on anything. That estranged wife already had him deemed incompetent, so there is that little obstacle. Bottom line, he better caul Saul.

The league doesn't want this and there is a reason. The sale was contingent on all sorts of "no further suits by anyone" bullshite. It's obvious the jumped the shark a little in their haste to seem harsh on racism. But, they exposed themselves and Sterling will expose more in court.
The "incompetence" bs was his wife's doing.
Sterling is pissed now, and money is no object to him. EVERYONE, including the NBA know the little skank whore did it for fame. She's since been exposed.
There is no apparent end the the NBAs liability in this frickshow.

i think his suit is more of a libel/interference of contract suit. i think the sale is just secondary

i'm sure this is coming, too
