That's a blue tick, not a heeler. Fine looking hound...

Sitting there for the pic, she looks like a pretty well-adjusted pooch, too.

Beat me to it. Blue Tick Right color, wrong ears and body for a heeler.
I had 2 different blue heelers, both got run over, "Heeling" cars. Some hard headed sumbitches!

Wish she was local I would pick her up. Great trail dogs. Always hunted with Blue ticks, Black and Tans and Red Bones.

A significant portion of the OB is anti-dog hunting.

I'm calling tomorrow and probably going get her if nobody else beats me to it.

Will any amount of money let me get her without them cutting her plumbing out? I hate the fricking dog pound with a passion.

That's a great looking pup. My yard can't take having 2 beagles and a blue tick lol.

crap, I wish I could take her...had those dogs around during my childhood and I would love to hear that hound dog bark again...

definetly wouldn't work in my neighborhood, though...one day I'll get back to the country...

I think they are required to spay her but certainly you could ask

I already have a bloodhound and a redbone mix...a home is not a home without a hound bossing you around

Edit: the dog is at a foster home not the pound. You can contact the foster home thru the vet

I'd scoop her up, but we switched to beagles a few years back.

Maybe I could just run her with no collar and see what happens.
