Is Louisville the most trashy/thug athletic department in the NCAA?

Their head football coach left Louisville right after signing a huge contract extension, then left the Falcons midseason without even telling his players, then was fired at Arkansas for lying about a sex scandal and motorcycle crash, then Louisville hires him back after 1 season at WKU.
The head basketball coach was implicated in a sex scandal where he screwed a woman in a restaurant and later paid her 3 grand to have an abortion.
Now, it seems like Louisville has built a recruiting pipeline for any football player kicked out of any major university, no matter the reason. I can't think of any university in America with worse role models in high profile athletic positions. There is no way I would want a son of mine playing in an environment like that during his most formidable years.

Maybe, but it appears Tom Jurich is more concerned about winning than what others think about him or his program.
Personally, I like the win-at-all-costs-zero-fricks-given mentality. To each his own tho

Personally, I love the Louisville/Auburn type athletic departments.

Eventually it's going to come back to bite them in the arse. But some people love that shite. I'm probably a little biased when I say I can't wait for it to all come crashing down. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

This has been happening for years. It's not new.

Mike Dyer, Zeke Pike, Josh Harvey-Clemons, JaQuay Williams and Shaq Wiggins - with the possibility of landing Tray Matthews now... Louisville, IMO, is Second Chance U right now.
They also love getting players from Auburn and Georgia, it seems.

Yes although sadly Huggins and Holgy give them a run for their money

Hell. Damn. Right.
And just wait. The best is still to come. Tommy Turtleneck and others may find themselves in the slammer once the Feds unravel the YUM Center fiasco.

Yes.
I've hated them for over 20 years so this is old news to me.

When they came to Oxford to play us a while back i was stunned at the trashiness. There were so many jersey wearing, cargo short flat bill wearing douches with earrings I didn't know what to think.

I can only speak for myself but I'd rather go 3-9 for 5 more seasons than hire Bobby back. It's gonna sound like it but I really don't hate him. However, he screwed over my team so screw him.
Consider our screw over came to a head due to an accident and in the process he screwed himself as well- at least temporarily. Louisville's screw over was was calculated and done for his own benefit.
Since screwing over Louisville he's screwed over not just us but the Falcons as well. I can't think of a more pathetic hire than Louisville hiring Bobby back- it's like an abused spouse going back for more.
And I'm not a fan of Pitino either.
In summary, yes, to the question in the op. I say this without sarcasm but I feel badly for the Louisville fans- I would be embarrassed and I'm sure some are just that. I guess you choke it back after a bit and go on but dang it's an ugly picture when you look at it as a whole.

They're definitely the most shameless.

Its well known nationally that Auburn and Louisville are both known as thug/win at all costs programs.
