Even losing Nola, check out how the team is shaping up for next season:
C: SR. Kade Scivique/JR. Chris Chinea
1B: SR. Tyler Moore
2B: SR. Connor Hale
SS: JR. Alex Bregman
3B: SO. Danny Zardon
LF: SO. Jake Fraley
CF: JR. Andrew Stevenson
RF: JR. Mark Laird
Fri: SO. Jared Poche
Sat: SR. Kyle Bouman
Sun: SO. Alden Cartwright/SO. Russell Reynolds/SO. Hunter Newman
This is just building a team based off potential returnees, not including our recruiting class which could be pretty epic if only 2 or so guys sign pro from it...lots of power arms in it as well as some guys you definitely could see as a DH, 3B or 2B/1B if Moore/Hale either make the jump pro.

Deichmann and Marshall would look real nice on that list

The starting pitching will be loaded next season. Even without the best LSU pitcher ever.

Even if the big position players sign in our recruiting class and we dont lose Moore/Hale, you gotta believe one of the Jordan bros will put up a good case to be DH.

I am really excited to see what Reynolds and Newman bring back

Moore could leave early.

LSU staaaaaaaaaaaaaacked!!!

Good list. Predicting which freshmen will shine is always a crap shoot, but I am confident one or two will rise as always. One big time SP and one position player that can hit 320+ would be awesome.

Definitely a lot to look forward to with this program. We return a ton of talent and the incoming class just reloads.

Deichmann and Marshall
And for those that dont know these names...Deichman is an instant starter at 3B or 2B (if Hale goes Pro).
Marshall is 100% guaranteed a starting pitcher next season if he comes here.

Moore is probably gone.

Been saying since February we'll be very good and very deep next year.

The only underclassmen easy to project as signing right now is Nola and Broussard. No one else is a Top 5 round pick, and it's tough to say if anyone is really a 6-10 round pick either.
The guys we have to look out for though are:
Moore
Person
Hale
Laird (Draft eligible Soph)
All 4 of those probably get drafted, but where is a big question.

BA has Marshall as a Top 50, would be awesome if he came but I can't see it.
Apparently there is a stud signee who has had an injury ridden senior year and will make it to campus. Trying to remember the name.

Word on the skreet says he gone.

I don't think there were any significant injuries. Godfrey hasn't thrown as well as he did last Summer and Fall and may slide. Deichmann is very much like Bregman in that he will be expensive to sign but has questions about where he projects defensively, which will likely cause him to slide.

Deichmann and Marshall are probably <20% chance they make it to campus. Bobby Bradley might be about in that mix as well.

Is Breg draft eligible?
