re: Do men enjoy being nagged?

Well, that question is not so obvious if one thinks about it.
Some communication construed as "nagging" could be a woman trying desperately to communicate to a man who is ignoring other attempts at communication.
Some times blowing off the nagging is a sure way to get to D-ville.
All that said, the topic of said nagging is key. Is it deep-seeded issues (communication, sex life, etc.) OR is it taking out the trash/mundane BS?

Yet you're on the OT nagging about your husband not separating the laundry. Coincidentally he is a poster on here.
What do you do for a living?

I didn't read this thread, but you sound like a lazy, stupid bitch. If something is so important, stop asking someone else and fricking do it yourself.
I really think this is all that needs to be said on this topic.

I'm not nagging. I'm simply making a point for the topic.
I stay at home now, but I've worked since I was 16. On top of working I've normally done the majority of housework, so don't even.

This is why I will never marry again. It just isn't worth the bullshite you get from women. I just don't see the benefit. Other than sex, what do they really bring to the table?

In Marriage, they rarely bring that to the table...

I never tell him to do anything, I ask. Just as he asks me to do random things. Give and take.
I totally agree with all your partnership points, minus the putting it in my butt.
I seriously didn't come here to complain. It was just a random thought that popped into my head this morning. I rarely ask my husband to do things, especially things I can do myself. I enjoy trying to do things myself actually. I usually only ask him if it requires heavy lifting or may get me electrocuted or blow up the house. Those are men jobs.

This is true. So absolutely zero reasons to marry then.

nothing will make me ignore you more than starting in on a list of tasks after I have been at work all day.
Honestly, unless it absolutely cannot wait I would rather people not try and talk to me about things for at least an hour after work.

Not reading all the pages, but here's my take. People speak in code sometimes and expect others to understand the real meaning. When a guy says "Yeah, yeah, I'll do it" he obviously isn't interested in doing it, and nagging him will not help matters. You need to get either a firm commitment with a time deadline, or a firm statement that it won't get done. Or just realize he isn't going to tell you anyting firm, which can be highly annoying.
BTW, women do this too when they say "No, nothing is wrong honey" and expect him to "get it", refusing to be more direct about it.

Serious question. I know the knee jerk response is no, but think about it for a minute.
There is a very simple way to not be nagged, just do the task your partner has asked of you, if you can't, give some reason why you can't instead of saying, "yeah, yeah, I'll do it"
I personally don't like to nag anyone, but it seems to be a necessary evil.
Or are you all just so scatter brained and retarded that it actually requires us asking 5 bazillion times about something?

My wife never nags me...I do it immediately if she needs something. If anything I nag her. She is quite forgetful and will not do something unless I write it down and tape it to her cell phone or keys. And if I nag her it is usually in a joking manner.
I'm sure that alot of posters that live in their parents' basement are about to call me Beta, but I do 100% of the yard work, probably 75% of housework, take care of all finances, and half the cooking. But she does work more hours than me and she appreciates it when I do things around the house.
And to answer the question, no I HATE being nagged.

If I ask you to separate the laundry when you put it in the baskets, how difficult is that?
Well after a 12 hour work day it can be more b difficult than you'd think, especially if my wife wasn't working at the time.

Admittedly I put off doing stuff. I don't like to fold, or hang clothes, or put away some things, or make the bed. I do recognize it should be done, and I'll do it if you remind me (and I'll try to do it otherwise, but I'm a dude and it doesn't come naturally sometimes).
But the bed being made while I'm drinking coffee at 9:15 on a Sunday and in the middle of a show/article is not an emergency, we can do it the next time I get up, or we're about to leave, or whatever. As a comedian once put it, it's like something about an idle male just makes women go batshit crazy.

Divorced and close to 60 yrs old. Best answer I can give is "beats the shite out of me".
I won't marry again either. However, most of the females I date feel the same way I do about "entering into another legally binding contract."
We enjoy each other's company in various rooms of the house. Then we go our seperate ways until next time.
