Need help identifying this snake..Came across it in my backyard. Wife was a lil shovel happy and wanted to make sure it was dead.

that may be the first poisonous snake ever posted on the OB. You should have caught it with your hand, then taken pics to show how truly manly you are. Then you release it to get good snake karma. His brothers won't bite you after that.

That is one snake that even Steve Irwin, may he rest in peace, was leery of. He said they were very aggressive and unpredictable. Good kill!
