Is there anything that will get rid of this shite? I saw something called "sedge hammer".. Does this do away with it or just temporarily kill it?

Just noticed the stuff made for it this year. I will know later in the year if it works.

Youve used it? Did it keep it away the whole summer?

When I was in the golf biz we used "Image". We tank mixed Round-Up Pro and Image as an "all around" combination that worked pretty well.
There might be better alternatives, just speaking on what I have used.
Sedge comes straight from hell and is the biggest pain in my arse also.

Has anyone tried this and is it safe for St. Aug? Suppose to kill crabgrass and nutsedge. Is only $9 for 32oz concentrate at Lowes. Lot cheaper than Image.

Sedgehammer is selective. I use it on liriope, and it doesn't kill that.

No its safe for lawns and plants. Tho I would not go crazy spraying everything with this stuff.

Lowe's carries Image Nutsedge killer.
Its about 25-20 for a bottle but it will kill it easily.

My landscaper who did my flower beds said Image is the stuff he uses. I use it in my beds with good success.

If I spray tonight and cut the grass on sunday, will that be enough time for the weedkiller to get into the weed/root and be effective?
