what kind of reptile is this?

Found him at work today and he was a very slow mover.
I think it's a lizard but Idk what kind because he is really big.

Eastern Fence Lizards are found all over Alabama but usually have a blue beard (and even sometimes and entire blue belly) even the majority of females.

it does not resemble any of the normal native lizards of Alabama.

It had a blue beard but it turned an odd shade of gray when one of the guys tried picking it up.
Thing was about 6-7 inches long. I had never seen one before honestly.
Seems like Eastern Fence Lizard is what it is. The pack of wood I found it in came from Mississippi and that fits the region for the specie.
Thanks man, honestly never heard of nor seen one before. Only lizards I know of are those really small ones I'll find in the yard during the summer and the occasional lot lizard you'll see at a truck stop.
