Another desperate diversion from your OP.
Just admit you were wrong this time and move on. I'm sure the SG movement will provide you with lots of legitimate weaknesses to attack in the future.
Face the facts that you screwed up with this one and salvage what miniscule credibility you have left. Start a new "I don't want to be NOLA" thread if you need to.

I was responding to a poster who replied to me that he lives in New Orleans. BTW, thanks for continuing to bump this thread. It saves me from having to do so.

And he only mentioned that to indicate that he was unbiased as far as the SG debate goes. You, as usual, chose to attack him and to hopefully change the subject from your fatally flawed premise.
Remember, 9 plus 2 minus 2 does not equal 11.

Taxes may or may not eventually increase, but White's bill does not do that.
If you want to debate tax increases and SG; that's fair. However, this is the wrong thread to do it.
But before I sign off, I'd guess the likelihood of a tax increase in SG is less than the likelihood of a tax increase in BR; IF SG becomes a city. But I'm just speculating.

NP. I'm getting quite the laugh out of it.

In what way?
He doesn't want EBR Parish Schools to be like Orleans Parish schools.
As a whole Orleans Parish has a better grade score than EBR does(even though EBR scores have been inflated somewhat). We can't have that. We need to keep the status quo.

Obviously that's not including the 50 shitty schools in New Orleans that were taken over by the state's Recovery School District. 34 of which are charter schools.
I think there's 6 RSD schools in BR. The agenda here obviously is to convert as many schools in BR to state run charters - for better or worse.

Sure, when you exclude most of the schools in New Orleans.

Zachary Community Schools oh wait.................
He'll be in over his head there.
How about St. Helena Parish? And while we are at it, send me there for spelling and typing.

The school board in Orleans Parish only runs 19 schools in the entire parish while the RSD has 70 schools, almost all of which are publicly financed private charter schools. LINK LINK
And of course those school board run schools score high. Otherwise they would have been put into the Orleans Parish RSD.

I don't see why RSD schools would be included with Orleans Parish School System scores. Theyre separate entities.
Only 18 out of 92 schools in Orleans Parish are actually controlled by the Orleans Parish School Board.

They scored each(regular v RSD) separately and then combined each(regular system + RSD) parish.
You can review each as a stand alone system and you can look at the entire parish as a whole if the RSD schools were included.
