this is entirely too presentation/bait dependent

really?
even for river/creek fishing?

Not doubting you do, but in what regular bass fishing scenario would you rather have a spinning reel?

In all fairness...though I primarily fish with bait casting reels, I do have a couple of spinning reels....I think we all do. frick, as long as I/we are catching fishing, I could give a frick about whats being used.

exactly, i just love ruffling the feathers of hardcore baitcasters fgts who refuse to fish with anything else

i'm using my spinning reels generally 80% of the time i'm not down south
i use my baitcasters for heavier lures in the thick veggie

well, I typically have much lighter rods for my spinning combos, so I guess it has more to do with the rods, rather than the reel TBH

I bought a spinning reel with a 6'10 M rod, spooled with 15#PP/12#Fluoro leader.
I just cant get myself to like it. It does come in to play when the wind is blowing at me and when throwing light baits, otherwise I do not like the lack of accuracy.
I dont like it for fishing banklines where I am trying to hit a certain spot, but if I am fishing a wide open mossbed where accuracy is not a concern, it serves its purpose.
If I cant make myself like it after this year I will probably unload it.

Sometimes I wanna fish these on spinning, but I have a good rod for it on a baitcaster. I'm still not that great with really small weightless finesse worms but I'm trying.

I keep baits I want to throw in front of a fish's face on baitcasters. Or if I'm in a shorter casting situation such as working a bank that's close to me. I can control distance so much better with a baitcaster.
If I'm fan casting a big pond, or the fish seem to be spooked easily and I need to make long casts, I pull out my spinning reels with 30# braid. I can cast further than I'll ever need to with that set up.

I dont have outdoor channel any more
IDK, admittedly I know that i limit myself by not utilizing the drop shot and other super finesse presentations.
I normally am done chasing bass by May, and i start looking for schoolies in summer.
I make this comment because, i have success in catchin fish year after year during this time using the same techniques. I dont have to resort to the finesse style of fishing to get bites this time of year...
All the while lookin for the bream beds

I like fishing a texas rigged small crawfish around stumps/trees this time of year for bass and white perch, and I use my spinning combo for this

Braid smaller than 50# is the bane of existence. I have it on a couple of reels. But I hate it.
Couldn't disagree more. I use 30# PP on most of my bass rigs, and 20# on my lone larger spinning set-up for saltwater. 50# is nice for frogs, etc..., but the 30# casts so awesome. I can throw weightless rigs no issue with 30# PP, but with 50# it just doesn't work as well.
