I throw spinning almost exclusively. I have won tournaments with it.
I can throw a bait caster just rather fish witha spinning reel. I fish almost every weekend fresh or sl saltwater and usually catch as good as or better than others I fish with.

Could care less if it threatens someone's manhood that I choose to fish something other than they do.

Fishing is about fun , fish with what you have fun with.
Most of these bad asses talking shite probably can't fish.

I'll be at Indian creek Saturday and Toledo the next weekend then from April 11-18.

I'll be glad to fish against anyone and see what happens ...

I'll probably be there, but if it's still bedding time, I'll be after the perches.

I will admit to buying spinning reels here lately. I've got both, and still probably go baitcast 75% of the time, but nothing gives me more pleasure than to pull into a duck pond, wind howling, and I'm humming that gold spoon (or redfish magic) from Bayou Thomas to Chalmette while the other dudes in the boat are jacking with backlashes (professional overruns).

No shite! It took 4 pages for someone to comment about the crappy mount this 'charter captain' has on his wall. He's obviously proud of it.

I just found out I have a baseball game Saturday morning, and already had other plans for the afternoon. Not going to be able to go.
