Whats harder: engineering or Medical school?

I was debating with my roommate. Engineers have to do more calc, physics, statics, and thermodynamics, but pre med students have to do all kinds of biological shite and they still might not get into med school which is tough.

Are you asking premed (bio/biochem?) or actual medical school?

Is this real life?
If talking about just premed, yeah engineering is probably harder.
Medical school is WAY harder than engineering

Does engineering have night call?

med school. try arranging and identifying an artery in the intestines in 60 seconds. Are having the blonde next to you pop part of the colon and well fecal matter goes everywhere

Which engineering? To get a doctorate?
In general, med school. But you have to be more specific.

You act like engineering is the hardest undergrad. That's not at all obvious.

Well, my brother got an engineering career with an undergrad degree where I had to got to 4 more years of school post grad then several more of residency.
What do you think?

This makes no sense.

They're both hard. They take many of the same initial classes (chem 1&2, phys 1&2, calc), then they diverge. After this point they're hard in different ways. Engineering you have to solve problems and figure things out. Pre med you have to understand processes and complex relationships.
It all depends on how your mind works. Some find one harder, some find the other harder.
I had several chem and elec engineering majors in my med school class.
Now if we're comparing engineering to med school, med school is harder hands down. Even my engineering classmates said so.
I also had a lawyer in my med school class and he said law school was easy compared to med school.

If you're an engineer, medical school. If you're a medical school student, engineering.

Getting into medical school can as challenging as medical school from what I understand.

I know three engineers that are now in med school. They spend more time studying to memorize things. They have more to memorize, so in that respect it is harder. Engineering is all about understanding concepts. If you get them, it can be easy. If not, it'll be a struggle.
They are both hard in their own ways.

It really depends on the individual. Engineering is more conceptual while med school is more sheer volume. My gf is in med school and is working on a Ph.D. at the same time and while the med school concepts aren't difficult (child's play compared to her Ph.D. research) there is just a vast amount of info that she is responsible for on her exams.

I personally wouldn't be able to do Med school just based off the hours and years of school. My uncle however went to school to be an Electrical Engineer didn't like it and thought it was too hard and decided to try his hand in med school. I guess it just all depends.
