Why the Rays and not the fricking Marlins? Talk about an area undeserving of a MLB team.

I think a team in Montreal and Vancouver would be great. They do like baseball in Montreal. There was a reason they got an expansion team. Cities and regions don't just stop liking a sport.

When Montreal had good teams they would approach and exceed two million in attendance which in the 1980s was good. The team was considered a success by all measures until Jeff Loria decided to destroy the team.

The Tampa Bay area has housed MLB for 100 years now.

Austin will eventually have multiple pro teams.

Meh...MLS is the most likely. "Multiple" sports teams is a stretch...we won't get a NBA or NFL team. A MLB team is a possibility, located between San Antonio and Austin.

Memphis would be better for an MLB team over Austin IMO. Nashville maybe?

The Rays should move to Tampa

I don't know if you've ever been there, but getting to the stadium in St Pete is not even easy for the people that live next to it. Build a stadium near the Bucs stadium, people will be more likely to attend games.
