Well he was a state legislator and a big wig in the KKK. Hard not to bring him up when you associate Duke and LA

i think an interesting place for a stadium would be on river on Tchoupitoulas and Henderson st there is an open field they could build a stadium in. we already have a huge youth system with Chicago Fire.

My buddy's dad, who is part owner of Orlando City, is buying the soon to be vacant USL-PRO franchise to put it in Louisville. MLS has told them they have a shot at getting into MLS during the next round, depending on how everything goes of course.

Another reaaon why Yulman stadium wont work- the stadium neighbors fought against it hard, and that's for probably 6-7 games, and not all of them at night
Add in 20 home games for mls.....

yeah, if it wasn't for david duke, it wouldn't be a bad recommendation.
FC NOLA for the win though.
Definitely like the idea of basing the club badge off the flag of new orleans. The three fleur de lis's are a symbol not used enough for Louisiana's sports teams. They would look good by themselves on the back, right underneath a collar.
Also perhaps put the pelicans from the state flag above the badge? similar to Crystal Palace or Lazio.
FC New Orleans is already branded.
They are competing in this year's state Open Cup.
The real possibility of any pro team being in Louisiana will probably play in USL Pro. And I can tell you that there are people who are exploring many avenues to get this done. NASL and MLS won't consider New Orleans unless you have a loads of $$$$$$$$$$ and the right business plan. Real estate in this city is outrageous.
Right now all you have are the Jesters in the NPSL and a strong possibility of the Gulfcoast Premier League taking place in fall of 2015.
The average attendance that a New Orleans team can get in this day and age will be around 4-6k. And that's if you appease the hispanic population.
Have a look at last weekends game between Honduran powers Olimpia and Real Espana at Tad Gormley.
The Ultras celebrating after Olimpia went up 1-0 before half.
The other half of the stadium wasn't as dense but it was full.
They probably had over 12k people there. Great atmosphere.

Liga Nacional
There are some folks in NOLA with some great Honduran connections. It was a fun game to watch and it was cool to see Carlo Costly and Carlos Pavon play in person. Costly even busted out his signature move. Crowd went crazy.

F David Duke.
We're taking the name and making it our own.

If not Dukes I like Voodoo. I think that would a good name for a MLS team. I'm sure the arena football team will not be around much longer after this season

Also I like Gators too!

New Orleans has the third highest population of Hondurans in the world. Behind two cities in Honduras.

such an obscure population to have in NOLA…
how about FC NO… gold (not yellow gold, but gold gold) should be in the uniform… it would refer to the brass of the jazz heritage here…
red and blue would be too generic… seems like every fricking team in the MLS has red and blue jerseys… maybe use purple with gold trim, kinda like Florence, which is another city that uses the fleur de lis frequently...
