Anybody not go to or host a Super Bowl party?

This will be the first Super Bowl that I'm not going to any kind of party. Just me, a glass of scotch, and my SO watching the game. I feel a little bit like a loser but I think it might be kind of nice

I wasn't planning on it but my Uverse receiver went out and they can't replace it until tomorrow. So, I got tickets to a charity event where the game will be televised.

I'm going to Ruth Chris with a bunch of friends to celebrate an engagement so I probably won't catch much of the game at all.

I try not to go to parties in general. I also work 60+ hours a week so I'd rather use my free time to hang out with my wife and son. Also nothing like a bunch of casual football fans saying I just watch it for the commercials! " and talking about a bunch of random bullshite to really get me in the mood for watching football. Yep get off my lawn.

I have never been to 1, there are things that I like doing while watching games that I wouldn't be able to do.

I'll just watch it with my wife while the kids go to the playroom and do their best impression of a tornado. Pretty much like every football Sunday. If the Saints were in it I'd probably go watch with my dad or maybe even a party if someone invited me, which never happens cause I'm a loser.

Why? That sounds awesome.
The last 2 years I had to go to these shite parties with my gf (at the time) that I HATED. I only liked about 2 other people in the room, and everyone just gabbed the whole time and didn't even look at the game. I would then get bitched at for being "anti-social" and not talking to anyone, while I was simply just trying to watch the game.
This year I'm going to a buddies house where we'll have about 4 or 5 people total. If I wasn't doing that, I'd just watch it by myself in my room. Absolutely no shame in not going to some extravagant party.
