There won't be until they confirm an ID and finish their investigation. They wont even release a name until family is notified.

last summer they found a young woman (((alive))) who had been dumped off just a few miles outside of Jeff Davis parish - about 3 miles from my farm property. Never heard what information they got from her or if she lived - someone tried to strangle her and beat her pretty badly. the Feds are also investigating cops from surrounding parishes

It hurts my heart that the photos used for the young women appear to be mugshots, except for one.

Is this laziness by the site or the only current photo the troubled young ladies had.

Who do you propose replaces them?
Do you think other people won't apply for the job. Who knows, they might actually upgrade.

Yeah. 8 unsolved and potentially linked murders is a lot. So were the 15+ in Baton Rouge carried out by (at least) two guys

Look at the percentage rate of solving murders in each town. I would expect a city of 250,000 to have some unsolved murders but a town a tenth the size has half the amount. That seems high.

Horse shite. They solve 7% of their homicides while the national average is 64%. That's incompetence.

This is a long read but very interesting going into detail about cover-up and corruption on these murders.

I'm convinced it is an inside job

It's clear that police in some way are involved directly or they were so in tight with Richard and his crew that they protected him at all costs. The cop buying and selling the truck from the inmate really takes the cake

Just to add to the previous link about the body found in Lake Arthur.

quote:

The woman was in her late 20's.  Police would only say her death was "suspicious"; they are waiting for the coroner's report to get more details on how she died.   This is a joint investigation by the Lake Arthur Police Department and the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's Office.

Seems emotionally invested in this discussion. Are you connected to the PD in Jennings?
