370 for 2000 Sq ft. with electric heater. We set it at 67 while home and 65 while away. Am I stupid in thinking something is screwed up? Before it got cold my bill was no higher than 180. I'm going to call my heating an air guy, but if he says everything is good what is my next step? Already called entergy last month because of an unusually high bill and they said the meter was fine. House is about 6 yrs old

67 and 65 is pretty damn low.

Mine was 84$ for our 2250 sq house.

that is pretty damn high for a house of that age...

are you sure you don't have some hot water faucets dripping or something like that?...

also, be sure to wrap your water heater and the water lines leading to/from it with insulation....

you may want to put in some insulated curtains, as it will likely be higher during the summer...

Do you have Demco? Our billing cycles are weird. Some months we have 36 days in the billing cycle and it seems high if we have abnormal weather conditions.

I would say that's VERY high. We finished building our house(2900ft LA) in late November . We got moved in 2 days before thanksgiving. My first bill was 290 without any insulation in the attic for that whole cycle. It's fully insulated now and my units run maybe twice a day.I have 3-15 seer heat pumps,1-50 gal electric water heater, and a propane tankless water heater. You need some more insulation among other things already mentioned.

We're total electric and 1 wood burning fireplace and ours was $600 last month for 4400sf. It'll be around 750-800 this month.

Yours seems about right to me.
