1. Pearl Jam
2. Nirvana "nothing on the top but a bucket and a mop and an illustrated book about biiiirds." Great but had to be heroin.
3a. AIC
3b. Soundgarden
4. Mother Love Bone. Very brief (heroin) but without them and a heroin overdose there is no Pearl Jam or Temple of The Dog album, and Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns is an awesome song. Talks about drugs and stripping and New Orleans. Which for early/mid 20's me back in mid 90's was ALL a song needed. But seriously a great song. Don't know if Andy Wood had anymore in him like that but it was greatness.

Such a fine line between each that a flea could walk on it and break it.

I tried. The only thing I could decide is that Soundgarden is last.

You frickers have no idea about the Seattle scene in the early '90's. Ya'll got spoon-fed what the radio gave you. The good stuff was played on Capitol Hill and the Broadway clubs. Look up The Whole Bolivian Army. Check out Mia Zapata.

This is weak. You don't have to live in a certain neighborhood to recognize good or bad music.

Dang...had to take two pages for someone to mention Mother Love Bone.

And my wife used to party with the Melvins

Suprised Sleater Kinney hasn't been mentioned. Oly's music scene at one time was big.
