Love the Verve, esp their first 2 albums. "A Storm in Heaven" is a masterpiece IMO.

Yeah, I picked "Untitled 23" by the Church a couple years ago...Still very solid !

You Shook Me : embarrassingly awful cover

In the Light would be annoying at 4 minutes, but it's interminable at twice the length. Pretty much the moment when the band realized no one would tell them no. Sometimes, you need an editor (or a producer, in this case).

Love Willie Dixon's original, but I like LZ version fine...I guess cue the Big Lebowski clip on this one.

With, In the Light, I couldn't disagree more...though not as uniformly excellent as some of their other 'epics' (ie Ten Years After, Achilles Last Stand, No Quarter, etc)..it still has some magic..even six-plus minutes in...but once again, that's just me.

I actually like Bonzo's Montreux

Cool..There's no LZ song that I dislike, even the one I picked as my least fav. Bonzo's work on that track is great as usual.

Have any of you listened to the drumming on The Crunge? Amazing. You all are heathens.

That's what I'm talking about !

I love James Brown, so I kinda like that one...plus I think it's funny "Where's tha Bridge?"

Every month is Led Zep month...check your seat cushions, the memo must be in there.

Great Band...Love them !

Heyday, Blurred Crusade, Of Skins & Heart are great albums too..like their early stuff like most folks, I suppose...

I think Gold Fix Afternoon and Priest=Aura are underrated, as are most of their 90s albums for that matter...

Don't mind that one, but probably my least fav on IV..

Worst Led Zeppelin Song of All Time...

As a counterpart to the 'best of' thread that's going. I'm as big a LZ fan as you'll find, but there are a few tracks I hardly ever listen to. I'm not including "Bonzo's Montreux" in my consideration since it's not really a song...but just a doctored drum track tribute to big JB.

My Choice:

Hats Off To(Roy)Harper

Others in the running for me:

Poor Tom

Candy Store Rock

Walter's Walk
