So exactly what did he say that you disagree with?

And the ratings are trivial compared to the merchandising revenue.

I don't agree with the guys opinions, in fact I think comparing homosexuality to beastiality is pretty hateful.

1. his opinion is that a vagina is to be preferred to a mans anus. you disagree. got it.
2. He did not compare homosexuality to beastiality other than to call both of them a sin. You disagree that both are sin?

Just pointing out that it's not always a good thing for someone to stand up for what they believe in.

I don't always read the bible but when I do I take it out of context meme needed here.

John 8:7 is Jesus dealing with the scribes and Pharisees. Pharisees were devout keepers of the law outwardly. They appeared to the world to be without sin (even though they weren't)

So when they went to stone the adulterous woman Jesus was pointing to the fact that they were in fact sinners, and not the perfect people they made people believe they were.

Phil on the other hand has freely admits he is a sinner, so please find another reference.

Isn't oral sex technically a sin, too?

What Gay Liberal Douche-tard bible schoolar posted this and you mindlessly copied and pasted one line out of a whole passage without context of what is going on?

What exactly does James 4:17 mean then?

Enough of the thread high jack.

Phil was most likely baited into the response, gave his honest opinion on the matter, and while I wouldn't liken it to bestiality, he has a solid point in what he is saying. But now days you cant say anything that disagrees with the minority or you are a bigot.

Christians are the group that people are least tolerant of.

Unfortunately, most people won't take the time to read the article. The author of the story obviously had a bone to pick with the Robertsons. The author seems offended by Phil's Christian values.

Even the Jim Crow references stated by this mornings news were off basis. Phil talked about what he personally noticed. But this same guy adopted a biracial child. I don't think he is racist.

Do you know anything about Christianity? About that minor teaching the Christians believe about repentance and the forgiveness for past sins. It's mildly important to the Christian faith.

Good question. Does Phil?

So if he is a sinner, why is he casting stones? Seems hypocritical. People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks.

To be a Christian, can I just say I'm a Christian or do I actually have to live by Christ's teachings? And what did Jesus ever say about homosexuality? Seems his whole thing was about breaking away from the Old Testament folks.

It's because they tend to be more annoying than gay people.

The thing about it is that Phil Robertson never wanted to do the show in the first place. They have said all along that the only way they even talked Phil into doing it is that it would give him a platform to talk about his faith and exhibit good family values to the country.

Phil could probably care less that he is now off the show. Just more time for him to be in a duck blind or on a deer stand somewhere.

He isn't casting stones. He is the first person to admit his own failings and shortcomings.

A pawn shop family one day, storage lockers the next, a bounty hunting family. The point is when this Duck Dynasty shite is over, there will be another show right after it that will shoot up to number. They're a dime a dozen. A&E won't be hurting at all.

I think you're confused. This isn't some run of the mill show. It has set ratings records. The viewership dwarfs that of any other show you have mentioned.
