Smoked Meat - Hawkeye style

Hey boys, I was sent down this way. Always looking for tips and such. Here are my offerings. Smoked on a wood-burning custom built smoker, with apple and cherry wood (and some occasional oak). Dry rub and spicy.

pork shoulder.

Iowa is the pork capitol of the world. i mostly smoke pork and chicken, but do a little brisket from time to time.

lots of Iowa meals are roasts, or fried and include gravy. i learned to smoke the Kansas City way, it's not really an Iowa thing.

Good looking meat meatman. A little small on the portions, but looks well executed. I cooked this for my kid's preschool luncheon the other day.
