Didn't FSu already have a huge academic issue, a few years ago? everyone cheating n shite on the computers?

Most widespread incident of academic fraud ever. You mean that one? Where the test admins were calling out the answers? Yep that is the one.
they have a long history of having sub par institutional control and skated because they hire people straight from the NCAA offices in Indianapolis to run compliance and they know people.

Yeah, because Florida has never, ever gotten in trouble or shite like that.

Anyway, the academic shite is whatever to me. Be an idiot and not take advantage of the free education if you choose. I would say the writing of the essay to the gay professor and the threatening of the instructor is too much though. If this is even true. Who knows if it is?

If they want to blow off school, I don't care. Leave other people out of it though, don't threaten professors and don't force their hand.

Not to endorse, at all- but that prose smacks of a non-healing wedgy wound from Junior High.

You mean the admin conspiring to cover shite up? Correct, we have not. the fricking Prez has met with a rape victim to try and negotiate with her so she wouldn't go to the cops. FSU is a whole 'nother level of corruption.

I don't know why I even care about college sports, they're a joke. I could see Tyrann Mathieu listening to music on headphones the 2 classes he showed up for the entire semester.

Even old St. Nick Saban was outed while at LSU for forcing professors to give grades and pass players. Anyone remember that? I believe it was none other that Wright Thompson in his Times Picayune days that broke that story. If memory serves, he was working at another news paper shortly thereafter.

Don't remember about the professor. I know that incident jump started the Athletic Academic Center being built.

In DSM-IV it would be code 319.

Stories like this make it really hard to keep liking college sports. I'm not saying it doesn't happen at 95% of D1 programs, but that's the problem. College football has gotten too big for its britches.

Mark Emmert was Chancellor at LSU at the time the academic scandal happened. He and Saban made that go away quickly though. Now he is President of the NCAA and shite is as blatant as its ever been.

I taught at Vandy back in the "good" DiNardo years. None of that crap.

I've been on the faculty athletics committee of a small D1 school, and we didn't have this stuff either. But the money was so much smaller and no football.

I'm a hypocrite. I think football is terrible for college, but I love it.
