Will the weather play role in attendance vs TAMU?

After posting Billy Gomila's "Delusional Optimism Says SNAP OUT OF IT" article, it got me thinking that a number of fans might pull the "it's too cold & rainy" card for this Saturday's game.
Anyone else expect a lackluster environment around campus & in the stadium?

it will be better than the auburn game, but it will hurt attendance.
note: current long term forecasts show that the weather may clear during the game.

LSU fans being LSU fans will play the major role as it does every Saturday at home

I'm driving in from Houston and we'll be there, rain or shine! (hoping they sell LSU ponchos on campus...) I asked my college student the same question and she said the rain games are the most fun. Hope it's packed!

I. WILL. BE. THERE! Rain or Shine, I will be in Tiger Stadium!
Drink more ~~ stay warm ~~ drink more!
Chance of rain: NEVER!!!

I'm selling my parking pass across from the old box if anyone is interested

Weather will be a huge factor. It will be windy, rainy, and cold. When the rain stops it will be a cold wind at 15-20mph out of the north.

I'm looking forward to it. Can't wait.

Took the then-girlfriend, now-wife to her first LSU game (she's an Aggie) back in 2006. It was the Fresno State game, where it didn't rain much during said game but sure did right before kickoff.
I remember her wearing some cheap-arse poncho, wading through shin-high water right outside the stadium, saying, "if this doesn't prove how much I love you, nothing will".
I don't care if it's raining sideways, we'll be there. Hell, I'll never pass on a chance to serenade her with the "poor Aggies" chant once we win. Again.

I hope not. Louisiana sports fans are really soft though. We'll see I guess.

Expectations of a loss will hurt attendance more so than the weather I'm thinking.

day games are toooo hot in tiger stadium in sep.
nite games are toooo cold in dv in Nov.
i was always taught in the boy scouts that the best camping was in the rain!
i pray for rain.

It's still a bit early for an accurate forecast. Tomorrow's forecast will be more accurate.

quote:Absolutely! It will keep our fair weather die easy fans away in droves, I guarantee. May not have 80k there in actual numbers.
