Last 4 opponents have a combined record of 8-23.

Alabama's opponent record is 29-34 on the year with one solid win vs. Texas A&M and a high school defense.

Just a small note of the opponents Alabama has faced this year.

With that said, since Ole Miss beat LSU and Alabama beat Ole Miss, that automatically = Loss.

"I hope I'm wrong."
"Did you watch the Furman game?"
"It's not how they won, it's how they LOOKED when they won."
"LSU is coached by Les Miles."
"21-0"
"1/9"

Just trying to cover all the responses before you guys want to shite on LSU and the impossibility of beating Alabama.

We will never be as good as Alabama. I want Nick Saban's babies. I wonder if he will marry me. I hate him! No! I love you, Nicky!

Yeah, because having an objective view of the game that doesn't favor LSU is being a shitty fan. Amirite?

We have one chance in this game, and one only. Put white and Robinson on islands and trust them to outperform the Bama corners.

I really hope aj doesn't have one of those days where he is deadly accurate. We are going to have to create a pass rush with numbers, and trust our guys to man them up.

Personally ... I can understand why many are concerned that we were only up 20-16 on Furman at the half.

Furman. Paladins.

Furman.

Ole Miss is a solid win for Bama.

All the idiots talking about how terrible OM is is the reason so many pussies can't stop whining and crying about it to this day.

OM was picked by many to beat us and finish ahead of us to start the season. They had a huge win at UT, then had to deal with a brutal SEC stretch, you know, the thing that makes playing in the SEC so tough, which Alabama, and A&M apparently, never has to deal with??

OM was 3-0, ranked, then had to travel to Alabama and Auburn and lost two hard fought road games to good teams. Then Manziel came in and they lost another last second game.

They were 3-3 because of how their schedule shaped up and had their backs against the wall for their biggest rivalry game.

Anyone that thinks LSU losing to that team, especially at the end of an 8 week stretch with no byes 5 of which were SEC teams 3 of which were on the road, can just eat a big ol bag of dicks. And choke to death of them.

Seriously, anyone spouting that shite is a huge pussy and should be called out for it mercilessly. They have clearly never competed in anything and know nothing about the competitive nature of athletics.

I don't care how many players were hurt. Those were all still SEC athletes on their home field, and most of their young players are going to be better than the older ones they were replacing anyway. It's why OM is a program on the rise right now.

Seriously, anyone who argues with any of that is a huge taint and should be mocked for all to see.

And they would all destroy Furman. 17 points in four games or 16 allowed in one to Furman.

For the record I do believe we have a shot at beating them, it's historically at least the ONE GAME that Les Miles teams actually get up for and play to their full potential. The problem arises when we lose that game, our season goes quickly into the shitter.

The other problem is that Alabama intimidates everyone by destroying them, unlike Les Miles teams which actually give lower teams a shot at believing they can can upset LSU and exposing their weaknesses. It's a fundamental difference in approach and one approach appears to me to be working more than the other if you look at championships and getting to the next level (as opposed to W/L records or losing to the occasional shitty opponent).

Bama's a damn good team this year, but I honestly didn't realize this. I'd still give them great odds of taking the head-to-head against us, but we should show up to play hard. Worth mentioning that we have a better record in Tuscaloosa in the modern era than we do at home?

Nobody has to say anything to refute the idea that LSU football is on par with Bama for the last few years.

What are you trying to prove?

frick alafrickingbama....the past is for historians, whining women and nega's. the present is for those with the courage and desire to prepare for the coming storm and the future is nothing more than an opportunity for greatness.

we can and will prevail.
