Well, I don't know that I have a favorite. But I did think A Gathering of Old Menwas pretty interesting. And I thought it captured the look of the area and people and it sounded pretty close to the accents of the people in the area.
And it's been awhile since I've seen it but I think it also avoided going all one sided in it's narrative and at least tried to show different points of view.

Winter's Bone was great. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Paper Moon. The Outlaw Josey Wales. Waiting for Guffman. fricking Road House. Meet Me in St. Louis. Million Dollar Baby. The Exorcist.
Might have to go with Winter's Bone or Waiting for Guffman. I can't decide. Too different.
