If I wasn't on my phone I'd link the radioactive song

The good news is Cesium-137 has a 30 year half life. We'll have plenty of time to gather more samples and track data...
In all seriousness, its certainly disturbing but the amount of radioactivity they are finding is pretty trivial.

Fighting every single bone in my body not to ask if this bluefin was caught legally.

That's a serious tuna steak. I bet they charge extra

The levels of radioactive cesium were 10 times higher than the amount measured in tuna off the California coast in previous years. But even so, that's still far below safe-to-eat limits set by the U.S. and Japanese governments.
Love me some bluefin. 10 times under the limits, worth the risk. I bet they start checking more often...

Sounds like a Scfy Channel Original Movie in the works as we speak.

Maybe this will kill demand and take some pressure off these fish.

Will this produce godzilla tuna?

The real question. Was this fish caught in season or out of season?

And was the captain subpoenaed at the marina or his home?

This made me IRL.

Just curious. Why were they measuring the radiactivity of it? Is that a normal thing to do?

If I had to take a gander they were doing it specifically BC of the radioactive hazards from the tsunami. Similar to how we did it With fish and shrimp etc. regarding the oil spill.
