Rant is the only place that really gives a shite about Toonces. I know first hand from a player's perspective that they don't GAF.
While I don't love it, I don't stress over it like many here do.

IMO, LSU in the Geaux font and the eye of the tiger graphic do the job for me. No cartoon Tiger head needed.

The Florida gator head is "cartoony" and does that hinder their recruiting? I liked Toonces because it made the logo bigger and fuller. The Geaux font is really small on ESPN and other sites...
