I just make a regular burger but spell out "frick YOU" in creole mustard.

I'm gonna start on the smoker to get some smoke flavor. Then I'll cook them on the flat top, top with pimento cheese and stick them under the boiler.

Just don't over handle the meat and punch an indention in the center of the burger to prevent too much shrinkage.

Come now Winky, you could probably fit the Declaration of Independence on one of your burgers.

1. saute chopped onions, bell peppers and garlic and let cool. (refrigerate if necessary)
2. ground meat ratio: 70% ground round and 30% ground pork
3. add precooked veggies to ground meat and add Paul Prudhomme's Meat Magic, one egg (beaten), a little parmesan cheese, Italian bread crumbs, olive oil and a dash of milk.. add salt, mix well and set aside.
4. cook 3-4 slices of bacon in a large pan (Whole Foods in-house smoked bacon is my current favorite) remove bacon from pan.
5. fry an egg in the bacon drippings and set aside.
6. cook the hamburger patties to med well and slap a slice of mild cheddar on each patty, allow to melt and place the bottom whole wheat hamburger bun on top of the cheese. Place the top bun in the oven for a few and slightly toast.
7. assemble the burger with bottom bun down, patty on top, top with egg, then bacon.. add lettuce mayo and tomato, avocado, mustard, horse radish sandwich dressing.. whatever you're in the mood for.
Can also saute onions and or mushrooms and top the burger.

I despise an undercooked hamburger.
It's not a fricking steak.

Heat charcoal
100% ground sirloin, mold into patty, thumb print in middle
Garlic salt and pepper
Place on grill until desired (med-med well for myself)
Add pepper jack cheese near the end
Toast buns
Assemble as you wish, I do:
Bottom bun, burger, pepper jack, bacon, jalapenos, lettuce, avocado spread, top toasted bun.
Sometimes will add sauteed onions or mushrooms but I don't want to overcrowd the burger. Make sure to get a good bun to patty ratio as well.

Raw bacon and raw ground meat sounds pretty terrible.
