In the long run they did a bit that bombed. Just because they are falcons I don't think it deserved a firing. 3 people are out of jobs because of one mistake. I don't get the celebration about it.even if not fired that bit wasn't effecting anyone here past today. And it won't effect me past today. Just annoying to try to get people fired when it has no bearing on your life. We could be more adult about it.

They didn't get fired because they're Falcons fans. Even most people in Atlanta hate them and said they deserve to get canned for it. I'm not gonna celebrate it but they got what they deserved, and I hope they don't get a job in broadcasting again

one could also argue if they were really good at their jobs and had the ratings they probably get away with a slap on the wrists. If you're not very good at your job and you're doing things to create headaches for your employer, well then you become expendable

They deserved to get fired because they were:
1) ill prepared
2) too stupid to squash a failing bit
3) just not funny ... I thought it would be dark, and I might be able to get a questionable laugh out of it, but NO, it was fricking horrible

I want to give a big thank you to JW for starting this off on here this morning.
I'm sure someone else eventually would have heard about it and pushed the issue, but you were the first one here and helped get those assholes pushed out of a job that they apparently sucked at anyway.
