The most likely scenario where that happens is if 1-2 teams hop us in the lottery, which puts us at 6th or 7th.
Which picking 6th is actually very likely. But, ORL will probably look to get Burke so that means one of those guys can drop.

I would do this trade all day every day. Makes the draft easy.

People say they don't want Bledsoe bc we have to play him big bucks. If your paying him a lot, that obviously means he panned out as a starter. If he sucks then you don't pay him. It's not difficult.
+1
We wouldn't just give away money if he doesn't play well as a starter...

Oladipo seems to be the one most likely to drop, as Noel and McLemore seem to be locked in as 1 and 1A while Porter looks to fall no further than Cleveland.

I agree. Oladipo seems to be the most likely to be there when we pick. Also, I'd go as far to say he would be the best fit given we seriously need perimeter defense. Getting Bledsoe would change that thinking though.

Let us also remember that Jordan has been "coached" and "developed" by Vinny Del Negro and pseudo-coach CP3. I really think he'd be something in Monty's system. Plus, only two years left on his deal, so it's not a bad gamble.

Off air with Clippers writer, he said he has heard a lot of buzz from FO sources that a Bledsoe/Jordan for EG/Lopez deal could go down
Good God please no. I'd rather roll the dice on Gordon than have to watch another terrible offensive year. Jordan is freaking garbage and there is a reason they want to get rid of him.

You can't blame them for his atrocious FT shooting.
Also, you can't blame them for his more idiotic outbursts.

I think the thinking is Bledsoe, Austin and Davis provide the offense. Use Jordan as a defensive 5 who can get an ally oop here or there and find a starting 3 in the draft or FA. That would be opposed to Gordon and Rivers sharing time and being the only guys besides Davis to provide offense.
I know why this idea is hated, but it does kind of set four of the starting five spots.

I like Rivers think he'll be good down the road, but we can't rely on him to be an offensive option next year. I hope he can prove me wrong but he's still got a long way to go

Not really. The trade brings in a backup PG and a terribly inefficient center, while sending out a starting SG and arguably better center. I don't see how that trade improves us in any way.

You always hear how ESPN insider is nothing more than recycled rumors:

There is sure to be plenty of buzz in the weeks and months to come about the future of New Orleans shooting guard Eric Gordon and Los Angeles Clippers point guard Eric Bledsoe. Today, Michael McNamara of BourbonStreetShots.com tweets that the two teams could already be considering a deal that involves the both of them.
Here's more on that.

Jordan is a very good, albeit limited, offensive player.
ORating this year 111, last year 107, and 104 the year before that.
Hate the contract, hate his immaturity, hate his FT shooting, but lets be honest about what he can do. The guy is legit threat diving off pnr. That is very useful if you want floor spacing.

Still can't get over how terrible that name is. They try way too hard over there to try and gain publicity.
As far as the trade, I'm down, just get EG out of here.

Don't know if it's been said already but Jordan reminds me off a young Tyson Chandler.
