Echo has a 5 year warranty, and is sold by real outdoor equipment companies who will service the equipment

I know we are talking about trimmers but I bought an Echo blower and it went in the shop 4 times in its first year (non ethanol gas only), and it is still a bitch to crank, it is currently sitting in the corner of my garage and bought a new huskvarna blower and it works like magic

this has really turned me off on Echo

I like my 4 stroke Troybilt plenty fine.

That's what I bought this spring since the attachments for my Ryobi fit it. So far it's been good, if I get 11 years like I did from my Ryobi I'll be happy. It only gets used a handful of times a year so I'm not shelling out the big bucks for top quality.

My Stihl starts when it wants to. Will move to another brand when this one dies.

Had a Ryobi that used to drive me crazy.

I have a Ryobi that runs great, on its second year. However, my arm shakes for about 3 days after using it. Am i just that out of shape, or do the more expensive ones not do this? I'm assuming the former.

I picked up a Troy Bilt for $90 at Lowes recently. It's a million times better than my old one, which was a Weedeater brand.

The Echo is not something I was thinking about but I will give it a look also.

You won't be sorry. I love Sthil, but so did the thug that stole my all Sthil collection of yard equipment.

I was in a bind waiting on the insurance check to come, so I replaced with Echo. A little better on Azz National, and have been just as reliable for residential yard work.

I've left gas/oil in mine all winter and it still cranks after sitting with just a few pulls. Every other brand I have owned were disposable after a couple years.

I am a stihl fan boi!

I have a craftsman, it done fine for me for 5 years. I used BIL's echo, that thing is bad arse. Lighter than mine, and less vibration at the handle, next one will be Echo.

I haven't used anything but the two Echo's I have for the last 10 years and have no intention of changing brands.

I'm hooked on the TRUFuel. Will never mix gas and oil again. All my toys run better with this stuff.
