I hit a shot I've never hit before in my life. Still not sure how I did it. Super wet but who cares so we went out. Last approach on 9 and its in soggy grass/bit of water. Go to hit ball and it pops straight up eye level and back down 6 inches in front of the divot. Nice...

Figured out some things today and got a short glimpse of the way I know I can play. Was +1 thorugh 12 and finished at +7 for a 78. Best round I have shot all year and looked more like how I was playing last year.
It got me excited, so I signed up for the Kansas Amateur, Kansas Public LInks, and City Match play. Didn't play competitively at all last year, so I'm looking forward to it.

Hang In there man. I player in that event about 10 years ago when it was at Uclub. Shot 80 the first day! Followed up with a 69 the second day. Focus!
