I love the way the football field is marked with the LSU in geaux font in the EZ's and the eye in the middle..... but what about this

For each End Zone

and

for the center of the field

I wouldn't mind it but it seems like a lot of paint. Is that healthy for grass?

It would take some getting used to. The EZ looks a little too detailed for that big of a "logo". I know the eye is pretty detailed but the middle of the field is a lot smaller than the EZ

Good Idea OP.

Not my thing though...so I'll have to pass. I kinda like it the way it is.

i would hate to think how much the cost of parking would go up to cover the additional time to create such ornate endzone art

opulance......i has it

I'm guessing that would be hard as hell for them to do. They'd have to make several gigantic outlines for them to spraypaint around and that would be elaborate. I know it takes them several hours just to do the Tiger eye in the middle, so doing a bigger picture on a bigger scale twice (once in each endzone) would be a grand undertaking.

Granted, it would be pretty badass.

For me, the problem is that the edges of your proposed end zone has so many colors going on that I worry about whether I would be able to see if a player got his foot in-bounds. Might be kind of difficult to discern in 3/10ths of a second from the west upper, where I sit.

Id play on NCAA.

Too costly, combined with the fact that our field is the bomb diggity as is, makes a no.

I don't like it. To be honest, I don't really like the current endzones either. I'd rather LSU not completely paint the endzone, just the lettering ala UGA, South Carolina, Auburn, Florida, etc.

Just spread the LSU out a little further and make the lettering bigger.

On a similar note what was on the center of the field back in the 90's... I cannot remember for the lift of me

while im sure it would look cool, personally i think its a little TOO much for the end zones

if it was for like one game maybe, but i dont think it would look good as a long term thing

Nahhhhh I don't like

Honestly I wish we just had diagonal white stripes in the endzone and LSU in Geaux Font at Mid Field

Maybe an eye in the middle of the endzone?

I like this

Inovative and a first . . . and why not us?

In the meantime I would love to have a T-shirt with your tiger eyes and the words, "Nobody trains to be the hunted" on the back.

I think I would be spooked out by all of the eyes. One eye is cute, two eyes is staring. Two eyes in each end zone would be too much. Not a bad idea though.

I do think it would be cool to show some creative use of that 3-D paint designs they use on some basketball courts. Like making the goal line look like its a foot off the ground or making the end zone look like a big pit.

I think that would look awesome but

paint is like $46/gallon
Eveyone leaves in the 3rd qtr
Bright colors and piped in music distract me from my iPhone

Plus the freshmen are hogging all the tickets

And the parking fees, don't get me started PLZZZZZE

Although i do think it would look pretty sweet, the tiger's eye at mid field has become kind of a trade mark of death valley. I can't imagine it without it.

This may sound crazy I don't know, but what about:

The NEZ painted with the RIGHT eye to the middle of the nose, and the SEZ painted with the LEFT eye to the middle of the nose.

In other words, the SEZ would have the left eye,
and the NEZ would have the right eye, each eye would both be closer to the East Side of each end zone (from a field perspective).

You could put an "LSU" in the West side of the SEZ and a "TIGERS" on the West side of the NEZ.

Midfield could still have the large swirl eye, or maybe a swooping FIGHTING in the Geaux Font.

I love our field though, one of the best in the country

I like the end zone idea. But like a lot of people have said its probably too much to paint all the time.

The tiger eye in the middle of the field should always stay IMO.
