LOL, Jordan isn't saying shite with any kind of factual thought. He's just talking shite about how much better it was in his day, just like every old person ever who talks about stuff they used to do

Yep

That's definitely the case here

That's why I say he'd be a good all-star and that's about it if, hypothetically, Jordan would start his career today under a different name. No league on court protection and the talent caught up with him.

I LoL'd for real. This statement is absurd.

Far more ridiculous than anything Jordan has said or done.

I love Michael Jordan. I love him more than any athlete in the world, but he needs to STFU.

Not surprised. This is how his personality always was. Age doesn't change that

If you read this one selection out of context and don't read the rest of the article, you don't have room to comment. Read the article

Ummm....yeah. Tim Duncan is BY FAR the most underrated player of his generation. He's won 4 titles, and has done it with multiple players. He benefits from a GREAT coach and admiral/manu/parker...but the fact is he is just as good if not better than Malone, Garnett, and Barkley. Today's generation has never appreciated him because he is THE BIG FUNDAMENTAL...nothing flashy, just wins.

It's like as soon as someone isn't in the spotlight they are forgotten...Tim Duncan's career is what Kevin Durant is praying to have! Yet let's laugh at the thought of taking the guy who has accomplished great things for a decade and a half over the guy who is hot at the moment...

Steven A. Smith told a story today that before Lebron won a title Steven was walking down the street and a black escalade pulled up to him. MJ stuck his head out the window and said
"6 titles, I got 6 titles, he doesn't even have one" "you're not allowed to compare him to me when he has none"

That's seeking an audience IMO

You're right....that's Steven A.Smith seeking an audience by telling that story on the air. Jerk move by MJ? Yeah. Insecure? Probably. Seeking an audience? Lol, if 1 qualifies as an audience I guess.

While my initial reaction might have been a complete rejection of MJ's comment, I think he might be closer to right than wrong on his one.

The problem is that MJ played from 84-98, seeing the ends of Bird and Jabbar and the beginning of Bryant, all through it playing with a large number of Hall of Famers.

But then again, he stared in Space Jam, so I his points are invalid.

cmon dude

yes Jordan is an arse but he's being asked these questions and giving his honest answer. It's not right or wrong it's just what he believes. No big deal to me

Just had time for the whole article. Pretty incredible picture it paints of Jordan. It's eating him up that in 10 years Lebron might be considered his equal.

Stop this bull. Wade paid his dues. He drove to the basket without ANY regard for his health for YEARS.
