Let preface this by saying it is unsubstantiated!

I was talking to a friend of mine with some media contacts. He is not an LSU guy at all. His contacts a few folks that cover the NFL. He asked me if I heard anything about Norv Turner taking over the OC job at LSU. I laughed and said I wish.

Has anyone heard anything like this? If this is breaking the rules some how, delete please.

Norv Turner isn't going from being a very good pro OC, a multiple time Pro HC (albeit a bad one), to an OC in college where he hasn't coached since 1984, at age 60.

He'll take a pro OC job or retire.

oh jesus christ..Yea, an NFL head coach is going to TOTALLY demote himself, to try to get a NCAA job.

You know how much money he would be losing in doing that?

Norv may end up in Dallas running the Cowboys offense for Garrett. he sorely needs an OC

I'm not sure if being stupid is breaking the rules, because there would be very few posters here if that were the case.

Norv would be so pissed when he got that sheet of paper from Les on gameday with 5 plays he was allowed to call on it!

Did Turner coach with Les at Dallas? Other than that I don't know what the connection is.
