Stanford 3rd down eff. 3 - 11
rushing 35 - 187
passing 13 - 20 -157
Do these stats look familiar? One thing Stanford has is a coach that understands how to be a physical power football team that has a plan to win games in a certain way and doesn't try to be something they are not. David Shaw knows how to manage his team and game situations. Yea they could of easily lost to Wisconsin but it seems he knows how to win games with a Miles type philosophy. Stanford has no off or on field distractions that hurt the team. They are a team on the rise while Lsu looks like a team in decline. Shaw is the epitome of what Les would like to be. I watched the Rose Bowl and they just resembled Lsu in their style of play minus the craziness from our coaching staff. We could be so much better with any brains at all. I'm not asking for a coach as intelligent as Shaw. Just half as intelligent would be nice. Just have some damn common sense and play the game the way it should be played. Is that too much to ask? Obviously it is, because it's the same old, same old story.

Come on....I don't like the results or how the offense has been run either, but do you realize if we would have had those run/pass stats and still lost people still would be furious? We had stats like that early in the season and people bitched.

It's Stanford. It's the PAC12. The numbers may look similar but put Stanford up against Bama or UF instead of Wisconsin, who is 8-6, and then they'd have leverage to talk about "national respect".

We just lost to an ACC team. This is not the time or place for SEC chest thumping.

I'm glad we don't play in the ACC after last night.

we scored 41 on Washinton

Stanford scored 13

but but but David Shaw knows offense

Stanford scored 20 points against an unranked team, we played a close game with a top 15 team.

Jesus people need to pull their heads out of their asses for 1 second.

Is that what LSU fans want? is that your idea of great? lose 2 games, and then win by 6 points over an unranked team that was only there because of a bowl tie in?

Clemson was a good team, we got to play a good team in our bowl game. We didn't get handed a piss poor Big ten team.

Stanford would've beat Clemson and I don't think Stanford recruits at the level of LSU

Their 20-14 win over an unranked,8-5 Wisconsin who is playing without their head coach makes you say that?

To be fair you cant really blame this on the coach. LSU will never get the same quality people as Stanford gets.

Wisconsin improved over the season and was better than the record indicated. And again do you think Stanford has the athletes LSU has? According to recruiting rankings they don't.
