Glad to see this place finally opening up. Construction was shut down for about 6 months.

For those burgers, they’ve brought in Nick Hufft, a New Orleans native who has gained a following in Baton Rouge for a food truck called Curbside, which serves burgers around a circuit of lunch and late-night locations in the Capital City. His menu at Barcadia will include appetizers (like fried pickles), salads, eight or nine burgers (one with over easy duck eggs) and sandwiches (deli-style hot pastrami, bratwurst). Hufft says he’ll continue to run the Curbside truck in Baton Rouge.

Any indication of this place planning to be open for lunch?

I went to a Barcadia in Houston and they didn't have NBA Jam. Completely ruined my time

This place is open now. I was there last night. Pretty extensive draft beer collection. Had a few beer and dominated some Street Fighter II.
The food service is going to start in about 2-3 weeks, but I was away to snap some pics of the Curbside menu.
Proof of domination...Ken got the girl at the end.

I have some questions. When you say extensive draft selection, is it an extensive selection of good beer or an extensive collection of every type of Bud, Miller, Coors, and Abita selection? Are the game machines 25 cents?

I'd say good beer, but I'm no expert. There were several I've never tried or heard of. There were probably 3-4 Abita beers on tap.
I had a few different beers including:
Curious Traveler
Southern Pecan
Canebreak
Arrogant Bastard
SFII was 25 cents. Mortal Kombat was 50 cents. I think all the others in the main room were also 25 cents. There was another room with bigger/fancier games like skee ball, air hockey, foosball, Golden Tee, Silverstrike Bowling, Hunting, the punching bag machine, etc.

Nice, can't wait to check this place out. I had a Curbside burger when they did the pop in Old Metairie, and have been waiting for this place to open.

And to answer my own previous question, this location will be open during lunch hours, which is clutch since I work in the CBD.

the decor looks pretty plain...does the place have any ambience?

The main room is decorated pretty nicely. There's 2-3 large rollup doors facing Tchoup. I think that room with the big games is still being finished up. There was some tools/equipment in the corner. That double door in that room leads to the Ohm Lounge, which is still under construction. There's another room in between the main room and the room with the air hockey that has some more tables and a large 2nd bar.
Here's a pic of the main room:

Wow. They actually put the word "sammiches" on the menu?

That's got to be one of the absolute worst contrived food colloquialisms EVER.

I found this picture of the beer list on facebook. I think the 3rd column is all the draft beer, 32 of them. This pic was posted because they're doing a drink all of these and get your name on a board sort of deal.

Looks pretty standard; a la Bulldog. (although Bulldog on Magazine has really stepped up their game the last month).

I've noticed that too.
Find it odd this place doesn't have NOLA blonde.
